LIMITED TOO TO FEATURE TRENDY PEANUTS APPAREL THIS FALL
Fashion Forward Retailer Taps PEANUTS for its 2003 Back to School Collection with a Direct to Retail License in Tween Apparel
NEW YORK, NY - July 7, 2003 - Limited Too, a retailer of fun, fashion forward clothing for tweens has teamed up with leading licensing and syndication company, United Media, to launch an all-new hot and trendy apparel program. Set to hit stores in time for this year's back to school season, tween t-shirts, fashion separates, sleepwear, underwear, hats and visors will be featured in Limited Too stores nationwide, as well as in the retailer's July and August catalogues. Leading tween clothing manufacturer, Jerry Leigh, will also support the program at Limited Too as a PEANUTS apparel licensee.
"A direct to retail license with Limited Too is a logical step in our current apparel strategy for PEANUTS," said Karyn Schneider, Director of United Media's domestic apparel program. "Being featured in this key trend retailer's 2003 back to school collection is a wonderful acknowledgment that PEANUTS is indeed 'hot' in the fashion forward apparel and accessory worlds."
On the heels of the successful PEANUTS by Doe juniors line, cool fashion apparel now is available to a younger generation of PEANUTS fans. To further round out the PEANUTS apparel and accessory program, Accessory Network has developed a range of products including stylish cold weather items, backpacks, and messenger bags. Additionally, ES Originals will develop a line of juniors and girls footwear set to launch spring 2004. Also, Wormser Company will launch childrens and tween PEANUTS sleepwear for holiday 2003.
